Megan & Buck Engagement

This session was a toughy. We had trouble with Megan & Buck's work schedules, trying to find a day. They kept getting stuck with overtime, then we had some weather troubles and had to postpone a couple of times. We finally got the session in at Charlton Park in Hastings on August 9. At the beginning of our session, a lone thunder cloud came through, sprinkled a bit and thundered and then we had clear skies. About a half hour or so after the session ended, it stormed! Luckily we were able to get the session in. The original plan was to go to Lake Michigan, but it just never seemed to work. I told them if they still wanted more then we could try again.

This was also a tough session, because Megan and Buck admittedly don't like their pictures taken! The beginning was rocky, but they were eventually able to open up and get some great shots. I got a little carried away with the sepia, but I loved how it looked on their pictures, and it was necessary on a few that were a little overexposed.

I'm going their wedding in early October, about a month before my due date! Yikes! I'm nervous about being that pregnant shooting the wedding, but I think it'll be okay.

I had commentary for a lot of the pictures, but it wasn't posting properly. However, I did want to get this entry posted, so I will have to figure out the problem later, as I don't have time to figure it out now.
